1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the ELK MemoGard apps (Android, iOS, Web), published by ELK Consulting LTD, [BRN], [address], Mauritius.

2. The service

MemoGard helps you track deadlines: action dates, escalating reminders, alarms, overdue follow-up, sharing with people or an organisation, history.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter (dates, amounts, payees) and for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential. Tell us about any unauthorised use.

4. Important limits of the service

MemoGard is an assistance tool. It does not replace your own diligence, nor legal, tax or accounting advice.

• Receiving an alarm depends on your device and its settings (permissions, silent mode, Focus modes, battery saving, device off or offline, manufacturer restrictions). MemoGard tells you which settings may prevent a reminder and has a safety net by notification and e-mail, but delivery cannot be guaranteed 100% of the time.
• Dates, amounts and penalties are those you enter or confirm. Any risk estimate shown is an estimate, not legal information.
• Any regulatory calendars offered will cite their sources; always check with the relevant authority.
• Paying your obligations remains your responsibility. MemoGard makes no payment.

5. Free tier and advertising

The free tier is funded by non-intrusive advertising, never shown during an alarm, a confirmation or a security screen.

6. In-app purchases

• Purchases are made only through Google Play or the App Store and are subject to their terms. No purchase is offered on the website.
• Remove ads — 1 month and 1 year: one-time purchases with no automatic renewal. Ads come back when the period ends unless you buy again. A purchase made during an active period starts when that period ends.
• Remove ads — lifetime: permanently removes MemoGard ads for the account that bought it, for as long as the MemoGard service is operated. It does not include specialised modules, AI processing or third-party services.
• Specialised modules: separate one-time purchases, offered only once built and tested. Variable-cost features (e.g. AI) may have quotas stated before purchase.
• Purchases are tied to your MemoGard account and can be restored on your devices, according to store rules.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their policies; a refund removes the corresponding entitlement.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ELK Consulting LTD is not liable for penalties, fees or losses resulting from a missed deadline, an alarm not received, inaccurate information entered, or a service interruption. 8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use MemoGard unlawfully, not to try to access other users' or organisations' data, and not to circumvent security or purchases.

9. Intellectual property

MemoGard, its logo, interfaces and code belong to ELK Consulting LTD. Your content remains yours; you only grant us the right to process it to provide the service.

10. Suspension and termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account for a serious breach of these terms, after notice except in an emergency. [Effect on purchases to be specified.]
